Cuyana's return policy is 30 days for most items, with free return shipping for US customers. Here's the full breakdown.
Standard policy
- 30 days from delivery for a full refund to original payment method
- Free return shipping for US orders
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition with all tags attached
- Order confirmation required
The free return shipping is a genuine plus — many DTC brands at Cuyana's price point charge for returns.
Final sale
Items marked "Final Sale" are non-returnable. Cuyana uses final sale on specifically marked items. Check before purchasing.
How to return
Start the return at cuyana.com. A free prepaid return label is provided for US customers. Refunds process within 5–7 business days of warehouse receipt.
Leather goods and bags
Cuyana's core product is leather — bags, totes, wallets. For bag returns:
- Include any dust bags, straps, or accessories that came with the item
- Items must be unused — even brief use can mark leather and disqualify a return
- Inspect leather items immediately upon receipt for any manufacturing defects
Monogramming
Personalized (monogrammed) items are final sale — they cannot be returned or exchanged. If you're ordering monogrammed items, triple-check the name and initials before purchasing.
The honest read
Cuyana's free return shipping and 30-day window are good for a DTC brand. The monogrammed items policy is standard and obvious in retrospect — custom pieces can't be resold or returned.
Cuyana resale value
Cuyana's leather goods hold decent secondary market value. Their Classic Zip Tote, System Tote, and leather pouches resell at 30–50% of retail on Poshmark. The brand is recognized enough that buyers seek it out, but it's not in the same resale tier as Mansur Gavriel or similar.
If you have Cuyana pieces you're not using, Cove can show you what they're worth on the secondary market before you decide whether to sell or keep them.
